into another edition of the Radio Free Hillsdale Hour. On this episode, we talk with

Kathleen O'Toole, Assistant Provost for K-12 Education at Hillsdale College, about parents getting

set for the fall school year. Andy Puzzder, former chief executive officer of CKE restaurants, is with us.

His latest is, it's time to let America work again.

We'll talk with Ken Calvert from Hillsdale's history department about Constantine.

And Charles Steele from Hillsdale's economics department tells us what it's like to train for and run in ultra marathons. First,

we're joined by Dr. Kathleen O'Toole, Assistant Provost for K-12 education at Hillsdale College.

Dr. O'Toole, thanks for joining us. Hey, thanks for having me, Scott. We talk as schools are preparing

to return to instruction,

and the circumstances for that are different for many of our listeners out there.

What we want to talk about today is perhaps address parents out there

who are preparing for the fall and talk to them a bit

and also tell them about what Hillsdale has done with this website,

k-12 at home.hillsdale.edu. If you have one big message for parents as they're getting set for

school to resume, what would that be? Well, that's a great question. You know, we're facing circumstances that we never expected.

I'm a former school principal, and I'm in touch with school principals and teachers all over

the place who are just, you know, trying to figure out what's the best way to provide for

these students.

I think sometimes in that conversation the parents get lost.
