I've been quite struck how angry it's made people that you've said you're going to vote for Biden

despite the fact you sort of think he's a bit crap.

Yeah, I don't think that saying you're going to vote for Joe Biden should be a controversial

statement in this election cycle, especially when you look at the polls and the fact that he's

doing extremely well nationally and also in the swing states. But it turns out that in certain circles

it is. I suppose this isn't surprising because this election is

ugly, it's vicious. American politics is becoming more and more polarized. And I think the idea

that you can take a bit of a more nuanced perspective has, you know, gone off the window for a lot of

people. Let's not forget that in America our party system doesn't work the same as it does in the UK.
