Caroline Levitt, the Trump James 27-year-old press secretary, wants to appear as a super mom.

Or at least that's what White House aide Margo Martin called her in a post photo she posted earlier this month.

Sure, because all of us moms smile while holding our infants and typing with our expensive, conveniently to hand. This is meant to signal

modern motherhood. The Trump regime continually uses Levitt as a pawn to try to sell their pro-family,

pro-mother nonsense. But seriously, that kind of myth about what it is to be a working woman and a mom

is going to set back women decades because it instills in us this very destructive idea

that women should be able to do everything. And if they don't, they're somehow falling short.

And leave it in particular is signaling access and hypocrisy.

Social media was not fooled by her for a second. Many called a photo creepy, and obviously, many

called out just how staged and fake it is. One person posted on threads a reminder that Le Levitt is a mom, yes, but also an incredibly

privileged one. That person wrote this quote, Leave it is married to a wealthy real estate

developer, decades her senior, and has ample access to child care resources. The White House

does not offer on-site child care for staff.

Presenting this moment as representative

of working mothers' daily struggles is misleading, unquote.
