| 0:44.5 | That's a great question. It really, I would say, started in college. I went to a business school |
| 0:51.9 | because like a nice Jewish boy, the plan was to take over the family business, which was a small furniture store in New Hampshire. |

| 1:05.5 | And all of a sudden I became much more interested in public policy than furniture or business. |
| 1:15.4 | And at first, international policy, but then eventually domestic policy with a real focus on education. |
