Hi New York Post opinion columnist smart is opinionated, educated, and this is the first time we're having someone on who I disagree with

politically, who's read my book, who knows this scene, comes at it informed, and with preconceptions

but are based on information and knowledge, and we're going to talk about that a bit too, I just have to open with a very big compliment.

So I ran into you on the street a couple weeks ago and you were there with your three kids and I very much judge people on how their kids

behave and judgment could be a positive word or a negative word and I was so impressed and I'll tell you why I was so impressed like

kids in some ways I guess some people find this insulting I don't mean an insulting

way are like dogs right oh yeah is is are they standing like bold and like waiting to communicate and like so they're secure in their person

But they're also not obnoxious and all three your kids your eldest daughter anyone I was there and to I don't want to she's standing

there with this big smile on her face waiting for me to notice her and that's the

mark of a kid who's smart but not annoying about it right and I talked to her and I was I was like okay

there's a mind there and it's really how old is she? Nine? Nine? Nine?

Yeah. It is really rare when you can look at a nine-year-old and be like this is someone I could have a conversation with.

And then your little boys, they were standing there also.

And the youngest one I go to him like oh are you shy and he was like no you

know but that's a big deal yeah where a kid is comfortable talking to an

adult but also isn't a annoying little freak.

Right.
