If you didn't listen to Part 1, of course, go back and you will see like the creation of my Christian

experience and now my husband and I are leaving the

mission field and heading back to America. What I said, and I've said before, which is great,

it's missionaries have a very usually low turnover as far as converting people to Christianity

unless there are other things involved besides just enjoy Jesus.

If there are any kind of monetary gains,

or if there's, you know, the general old-fashioned colonialism where the state

declares a religion or there's violence involved. Usually the one-on-one evangelism that

happens overseas, there's not a lot of success.

When we ended up leaving Thailand, it was a lot because my husband was Australian, so we had to go to Bangkok and we had to get him a visa to America.

It's a whole big thing.

We ended up going to North Carolina and living off my aunt and uncle, another long story.

We don't talk anymore. Let's just put it like that. That came from a different incident, but during that time, very appreciative. And going into the Bible built was quite an eye-opening.

The interesting part of it was that we were trying to get jobs and trying to get reacclimated,

and we wanted to find a church home, and it's very hard when you've been overseas

and what's known as a third world country adapting to American religion.
