An entitled Karen demands that she be allowed into the mall early, skipping ahead to the front of the line,

and claiming that she has important things to do and that she absolutely deserves to go first.

Things were so weird that she even brought her own security guards that began barking orders at the mall security,

stating that they had to comply and let her in.

But fortunately, this Karen gets shut down in a way that is truly satisfying,

making me glad that I was early just to see it all take place. Here's what happened. Okay, so this happened yesterday, and I'm still trying to process the sheer audacity of it all, while also feeling very smug about the results. Okay, for a bit of reference, it is Ramadan, and like most malls here where I live, they open at 3 o'clock p.m. on weekdays and stay open until 3 o'clock in the morning, which basically means there's plenty of time for everyone to shop, eat, and do whatever else they need. But apparently that wasn't good enough for one ultra-entitled Karen who thought that she was above the rules of the mall. I got to the mall at around 2.30 p.m. to grab a good parking spot

before the rush to catch some shopping for my wife. A few other cars had already started

forming a queue outside the parking entrance, with all of us patiently waiting for security to open

the gates at 3 o'clock sharp. Now everything was normal. That is, until her royal highness

Karen herself rolled up in her big black pickup truck with two

private security guards in tow. She pulls right up next to the security gate, completely ignoring

the queue of cars behind her, rolls down her window, and tells the mall security, open the gate

right now, I have things to do. The guard politely tells her that the mall isn't open yet,

and that she needs a cue like everyone else. But of course, Karen doesn't take no for an answer. She says to him, do you know who I am? Do you see my guards? I don't wait in lines. She then literally waves at her guards who step out with all of their gear like they're about to escort her to the throne room. And they start demanding that security let her through. But the mall

security, to their credit, stood their ground. Security said, ma'am, no one enters before 3 o'clock

p.m. Please queue like everybody else. This entitled Karen then scoffs and pulls out her phone to record,

demanding to speak to a manager. At this point, the rest of us in line are just watching in anger and

disbelief, which is only further amplified, due to of energy and just the sheer heat of everything going on. A few minutes later, the mall manager shows up, looking visibly annoyed. He walks right up to the Karen's car, and in the most CEO voice imaginable, tells her the following. Ma'am, your guards do not dictate mall policy. If you want to enter, you wait like everybody else. Now take your guards and move to the back of the line. The Karen says, this is unacceptable. I'll be calling my husband and reporting you. But just then, the manager cuts her off and says, You can report me after you move your car. This guy was an absolute legend. And the best part is that Karen actually shut up and sulked off to

the back of the line with her guards looking completely useless. So the moral of this story is that

even if you do bring your own goons, mall security will still not care in the slightest. And instead,

you should respect people and try to not be a Karen like this one in the story. Okay, this Karen is an

idiot. Like she seriously had the audacity to go straight to the front of the line and pretend like she's some kind of hot shot, as if she's some kind of royalty that needs to be catered to right away. But it's like, dude, what are you talking about right now? This is not how this works. Just because you have security and are rich enough to have some doesn't mean that you're above the rules like everybody else in line. Like that's really stupid. And it's like these guys are fully decked out in like some dangerous gear, if you know what I mean, and they're demanding that this guy opens up the mall. Like seriously, this is not some high-stakes situation. From the sounds of it, it seems like it's just some place to shop. Like good lord lady, calm down down. It's not that serious. And in fact, the original poster, based on what they described, further explained that this literally is not like a war zone or anything like that, and there's no active conflict where they live. This Karen literally just had security to flex that she has money. So yeah, that Karen was completely out of line. She had no business acting like that, and I love the fact that
