Kanye West won't face charges for allegedly punching a fan in LA back in January.

They said after a thorough and careful review of all the evidence, our office is declining

to file based on no reasonable likelihood of conviction.

Now if you don't remember, he had reportedly gotten into an argument that turned physical

when a fan asked for his autograph after already having asked for his autograph earlier

in the week and he just got very mad.

And the video of the scene showed the fan laying on the ground after the reported punch.

And you could hear Kanye screaming at a staff member.

He could have faced jail time if charged and convicted of misdemeanor battery because

he was previously sentenced to two years of probation and anger management and community

service for the misdemeanor battery of the paparazzi at the LA at LAX.

So after that, he had been placed on probation.

So this actually could have forced him to take some jail time, but they said they don't

have enough evidence to do it to have a conviction.

I think maybe celebrities should get one misdemeanor pass every year.

One every year?
