The problem for Israel beyond the obvious is that there was plausibly a peace deal in place

that if it had been okayed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would have at least on paper

had actually adhered to its part of the deal. There are legitimate

reasons why Benjamin Netanyahu might have rejected the peace deal on the table even if

members of his own cabinet as has been

credibly reported wanted the peace deal. There's the issue of corridors including

the very important strategically important

Philadelphia corridor which if Israel were to withdraw if the IDF were to

withdraw just give it back to Hamas the Gazans would they be able to retake it again?

Israel has a history of telling itself it will be easy to retake this territory

when it hasn't been.

So anyway, like I say, that is legitimate. What is quite probably

illegitimate are all of Netn Yahoo's motivations. We do know, for instance, that he is

incentivized to reject peace because he has a looming criminal
