0:00.0	All right. All right. All right. We're jumping back into this concept of the wilderness and how do we respond? How do we continue to lead our families well?
0:22.8	How do we continue to disciple our kids when we're in these seasons that feel sticky,
0:27.1	like fog, like we're just kind of in a cloud? One of the thoughts that I wanted to
0:32.9	lobby your way as we begin to talk about wilderness as this as I've really meditated.
0:39.8	The way that you handle wilderness seasons will either really shape you and really thrust you
0:48.2	forward in your discipleship process and your journey or it'll cripple you or you'll either take steps forward or you'll find
0:55.5	yourself totally cripple i'm um hey then i my wife and i we we have four biological kids we
1:02.7	adopted two kids out of foster care and we still foster and so this last week we picked up two
1:09.3	more kids which puts me at eight kids in my house which
1:12.1	I keep saying is officially a rec center I live at a rec center so but the the the
1:19.0	boys that we picked up and in the past when we when we foster kids that initial season
1:25.4	of entering into care right there's there's a great trial and the family,
1:32.3	uh, real tension and frustration.
1:36.3	And, um, I love, I love foster care in particular.
1:39.3	I love being able to be there for kids on day one of foster care because it's one of the most traumatic
1:44.8	days, if not the most traumatic day of their life. And what happens on that day really matters
1:51.1	and to be able to stand there in the love of Jesus filled with the spirit of God and create
1:58.5	a safe space for someone who's really a kid in trial is huge.
2:04.5	Anyway, all that to say is we've got two more boys in the house.
2:07.6	And as I'm praying for them, I'm praying that they would navigate this season of trial
2:14.0	with a humility and a vulnerability and honesty in their soul, that they would open
2:20.6	their hearts to hear God, the voice of the spirit, as they come to church with me or
