We are days away from the trade deadline.

We're recording this on Friday, July 26, and the hot stove is finally heating up. I felt like it was

really slow to get started this year. Not a lot was happening. And then in the last like 24 hours,

things have really picked up, which means that by the time people listen to this on Monday,

everything will be out of date and useless. So hopefully we'll have some,

some good conversations regardless, but yeah, we'll see. The trades that have happened

haven't really been like earth shattering, I guess, but it's kind of like a perfect time

to record though, because I feel like these are the kinds of trades that get swept under

the rug and fantasy analysis. And yet, since nothing really all that big has happened,

we can, we can dissect these, uh, these moves around the fringes. Yeah. So before we dive into those,

it is episode 1.45. It means we're looking at Jersey number 45. There are two guys. They're actually like,

they feel very similar to me. And interestingly, Bob Gibson, 89.2 career war. Second on the

list for Jersey number 45 is Pedro Martinez at 83.9. Basically one elite season short of being Gibson, even though he played

a couple years longer. But I'm assuming you're going to make the case for your boy, Pedro.

But boy, that's two of, I mean, two pitchers who both at their peak have an argument to have been

among the best of all time.

But if you're like the best individual pitching seasons ever, both of them are on that list

at their best.

Yeah, no doubt.

Those are, that's, I mean, I think someone could make a compelling case pretty easily that those are the two best pitchers ever.

And, you know, you can disagree with that, but like you could at least make the case.
