Let's get to Monday.

Late Monday evening, Jorge Saler, was traded from the Giants of the Atlanta Braves along with Luke Jackson. The Giants received Tyler Matzik and minor leaguer Sabin Cabellos.

Saler is expected to take over a corner outfield spot for the Braves.

The Braves also took on all the money remaining on the next two years of Solar's contract.

So that's probably why the Giants didn't get much in return.

Marco Luciano, who's been red hot at AAA, is expected to get called up and serve as the Giants' DH.

This is a, I'm hoping this means the Giants are selling Blake Snell and everybody,

because Salare's actually been pretty good over the last month or so.

It's kind of a bummer on this one.

The Astros have been looking for a starting pitcher, and they got one in Yusay Kakuchi. The Astros received Kakuchi from the Jays. In return,

the Jays received Joey Loperfito, Jake Bloss, who was scratched from Monday start, and Will Wagner.

The Jays are getting a few MLB ready players, which makes for a nice return for a two-month rental

in Kikuchi. The Brewers have been looking for starting pitching as well, and they received Frankie

...
