This is the second one you've done sort of in this biblical series, Genesis 1st,

and now the David story.

So what was the motivation to develop this course around David?

Why did you want to tell this story?

The college came to me earlier when we did the Genesis story, and I think the first suggestion was to do a David's story. I'd done one lecture for our great books 101, and I think in 35 minutes I tried to do the entire David's story,

which that was, that was pretty brutal. So they came back to me. The Genesis course was very

successful. The viewers seem to be okay, learning from an English professor, something about
