Justin Bieber just sold 100% of his publishing as well as royalties from his master recordings

for $200 million.

So this covers all 290 titles in Justin's catalog released prior to December 31, 2021,

including his most recent album, Justice, and it's said to be the biggest ill for anyone

from Justin's generation.

Now catalogs from newer artists are usually considered riskier investments because you

can't predict their staying power as, you know, like you would with classic artists because

well they've already been around for a hot minute.

So what I was reading about this yesterday is he's basically cashing out right now on

his own content for everything he's made up until this point.

A lot of this has had to do with coronavirus.

A lot of this has had him because he hasn't been able to tour because of coronavirus and

his health and his wife's health also.

Some are speculating that look, he needs some cash right now and there's, it's real insecure

time for musicians because you don't know how technology is going to change and what

the cut you're going to get is on your music anymore because there's really not a lot on

the music itself anymore.

So you can take out the merchandising and all the money they were getting for that.
