I'm going to ask you a question, okay?

The English word drag, D-R-A-G.

In your mind real quick, define that word. What does that word mean?

Drag, D-R-A-G.

Now some of you might have said, oh, it means pulling something along the ground that doesn't have wheels.

Like we dragged that board across here, or we dragged cows to the fire for branding.

And some of the first thought that came to mind was, well, I just, I took a drag on my cigarette.

That's old school right there,

all right? Um, take a drag. Some of you said it's when two cars are running a race

in a straight line for a quarter mile. They're dragging. It's a drag race. Maybe some of you

left over flower children from the 60s and 70s said something's a drag.

It means it's a downer. It ain't no fun. It's a drag, man. And some of you just immediately went

through. It's a guy wearing women's clothes. Same word. Same word, different definitions.

I'm going to be waving these flies off here.

What about the word gay?

You know, the word gay used to mean happy and lighthearted.

And now it means something totally different.

But if you read books or watch movies

or listen to music from decades ago,

people were young and gay.

That doesn't mean they were young and homosexual.
