Hey, everybody. Thanks for coming to the Zach Jackson and Friends podcast. I'm Zach Jackson here, solo, so with all my friends. Thanks for clicking in. It is Saturday, March 22nd. It's been almost two weeks since we've had a podcast.

Probably the primary reason is I told you we'd be back with a podcast and

rolling when, when the Browns did something significant for agency and, um, they've done very

little of significance. Um, you know, a lot of other things have happened, guys. And, uh, quite frankly, um, um, just let me say it this way. I hate when people

start to say something and they preface it by saying, I'm just going to be honest with you,

because it implies they're not being honest at other times. And I do it too, right? Everybody

has their tics and their quirks and their things they say right but um

it has really gone back to kindergarten with me and the a little bit of not if you don't have anything

nice to say don't say anything at all and look look we've never been scared of of criticizing or

more accurately calling the season but i truly don't know what to say.

And it's not like they were ever going to be able to or should have spent $200 million

in free agency, right?

But this is a really bad team that has some good players, but doesn't have enough of them.

And this is a team that isn't close to playoff contention.

And by adding another 30-year-old defensive tackle and some other backups and remaining

a zero of 10 at the most important position in all of sports, it really hasn't gotten any better. So, like, there's been a

couple of times I've wanted to sit down and, like, let's do this, especially in light of the Miles

Garrett press conference. But yeah, just let me be honest with you with that press conference.

It really wasn't anything.

I mean, it wasn't a celebratory mood for what at the time was the biggest deal for non-quarterback in history.

It was just weird.

And I'm not, you know, passing any judgments or saying that that will help or hurt the Browns win any games.
