Good morning, even though it's the afternoon.

And welcome back to the Zach Jackson and Friends podcast.

It is Sunday, March 9th.

And as I record this, we are 20-ish hours from the start of the player movement period.

But the big move came Sunday, late morning, I guess, maybe around noon, when Miles Garrett,

surprisingly reached a new extension because every indication he had given was that he was dug in

on the Browns.

He wasn't dug in.

The Browns dug out piles and piles of money.

And yeah, so as I made a few notes for this podcast, I'll just start there.

Doug in is what the Browns were, excuse me, in their stance, what they are and how they have to be, right, in how they present themselves.

The Deshawn Watson experience, experiment,

whatever you want to call it, failed miserably.

And it will haunt this team four years to come.

But for reasons debatable and practical,

Kevin Stefansky and Andrew Barry were given a chance to continue.

They've been given multiple blank checks by this group, quite frankly. And it always made sense that they didn't

want to trade Miles Garrett, right? So just I'm talking from their standpoint. Have I been the one

saying they should trade Miles Garrett? Yes. Will we all revisit

here in about 10 months and see where the Browns are? Sure. But for them, keeping their jobs,

keeping this thing going, you know, keeping the really, really expensive train pushing forward,

this is what it had to be. So let's just start there. The train does push forward.
