Summary

It’s only up from here. Trust.

I used to sing this song at church growing up— 'through it all, I learned to trust in Jesus, I learned to trust in God. Through it all, I learned to depend upon His word."

His Word, which was in the beginning, and IS now;

It's what you're hearing right now,
this Loving-Silence IS His Word.

And you're learning to listen for this vibrating Silence, through it all--
through all the noise,
through all the challenges,
like a rope, it's pulling you up and out of the chaos.

You're learning to trust what's on the other end of that rope.
Trusting that It's pulling you to safety,
that It's pulling you to the recognition that you were never in a well of suffering.
That there was no well,
just the belief in one,
the dream of one,
just like the dream of 'you'.
And you wake up back on the throne,
you wake up back at His feet.

I Love you,
Nik

"Now we're talking about a different end of the world than the bible has meant to most people. We're talking about an end of the world which is not the creation of God. We're talking about the end of a second creation. Of a false creation. We're talking about an internal change of consciousness."
-Herb Fitch, Avila Beach

"Just the slightest turn toward the inside is a very big thing."
-Krishna Das

"Bring your mind to one point, and wait for Grace."

that you're suffering into the belief that you're not good enough or that you're not

into this well of not joy, this well where you never get enough sleep, even if you

joyful activities have a tinge of sadness either because you know it'll be over soon or because

1:36.0

it didn't live up to your expectations. You fell into the well of your life, but look up, close

1:46.1

your eyes and behind those closed eyelids, keeping your head steady and level with just your

1:56.3

eyes, look up, there's a rope, there's help, all you have to do is grab hold of it and not let go.

2:12.1

You grab hold of it by hearing the silence and filling the love that rope is love, let go of

2:22.1

everything else. When you're holding love with both hands, you have to put everything else

2:30.8

down automatically. As soon as you feel love, you have let go of the idea of you suffering. You

2:39.6

never were the one suffering, you were witnessing the sufferer and the suffering. You see it, but

2:49.0

you're not it. So you grab a hold of that love and you still have to go into that bad job, but now

you're holding love while you're there and you're being pulled up out of that situation and you're

that situation too. And you're holding onto that love and you still feel tired, you feel weak,

but you're being pulled out of that reality, the world, as you know it, is ending. Herb Fitch said
