single day. But here's what we know so far. This case has shaken a coastal Australian town to

its core. We have a former reality TV contestant, a man dismembered, and a search for justice that's far from over.

This is the story of Julian Story and Tamika Chesser.

And there are quite a few new updates.

Julian Story, 39 years old, was a well-known figure in Port Lincoln, South Australia.

He was gentle, dependable, and known to help those he cared about, even if it cost him.

One of those people was Tamika Chesser.

Tamika, now 34, once appeared on Beauty and the Geek, Australia, back in 2010.

She had reinvented herself as an adult content creator and model, but behind the curated

posts, friends say she was unstable, erratic, and unraveling.

The two were in a relationship that ended before June 2025, about six months ago.

But despite the breakup, Tamika was still living in Julian's apartment.

Whether it was out of pity, codependence, or a lingering

connection, Julian allowed her to stay, and that choice turned fatal. On the night of June 17th,

something unspeakable happened. Investigators believed Julian was murdered in his home. He was dismembered. His remains were set on fire in the bathroom, and, most disturbingly, his head has still not been found. Two days later, neighbors noticed smoke. One man entered the unit with a fire extinguisher thinking there was a small

kitchen fire. What he found was far worse. Smoldering remains. Julian's body had been burned and was

unrecognizable. Outside, Tamika lay catatonic in the garden. Soot covered, barefoot, silent.

She was detained under a mental health order and later arrested. Tamika Chesser was charged with

murder, desecration of remains, and assaulting emergency workers.
