And on this episode, I'm going to be talking about the murder at Devil's Den.

Devil's Den State Park in Arkansas is the kind of place where families go to unplug,

reconnect with nature, and make memories.

But on the afternoon of July 26, 2025, the Brinks, a husband, wife, their two young daughters, walked into the woods, and only two of

them would walk back out. Today I'm telling the harrowing true story of Clinton and Kristen Brink,

loving parents, everyday people murdered in cold blood in front of their children, and how

their killer, a man with a clean record and a newly signed teaching contract, turned a peaceful

hike into an unspeakable horror. It was a Saturday afternoon when Clinton David Brink, age 43,

and Kristen Amanda Brink, aged 41, set out with their daughters for a hike on one of the

wooded trails in Devil's Den State Park. It was warm, clear, perfect for hiking. They were just a family out for a walk.

No drama, no enemies, just love and a picnic packed in a backpack. But somewhere along that

winding trail, they crossed paths with a man who had no business being there.

According to police, the man struck fast, using a knife.

Clinton was attacked first.

Kristen rushed their daughters to safety, pushing them into the brush,

then turned around to help her husband.

She never made it back. Both Clinton and Kristen died at the scene. Their daughters,

only seven and nine years old, hid in the woods until help arrived. They're now safe with family,

but scarred for life. What followed was a four-day manhunt that turned devil's den

from a serene escape into a crime scene crawling with police, dogs, helicopters, and hikers turned witnesses.
