Summary

Well, the knives are out. Later this month, Josh is touring Australia with the outspoken British journalist Douglas Murray. It's the first in a series of live tours that'll bring you the world's most interesting minds from across the entire political and ideological spectrum. You'll hear some of those events on this very pod.

Goody, humans. Welcome to the safe space for dangerous ideas, and I'm taking off from Sydney on a big whiz-bang, a fast breakneck tour to Los Angeles and then San Francisco to meet up with the substack.

Peeps, and then New York City, and I'm going to Washington, and then I'm going to London. It's going to be a whistlestop tour, but for the next two weeks, I apologize if content is a little bit spotty, I'll do me best. I'm going on a bunch of podcasts, so you'll see and hear me pop up hither and thither, I hope. Hopefully I won't be too jet lagged, too disheveled, and I won't say anything too outrageous. Or maybe I will.

And then I'm coming back and after a brief break with the kiddly winks to Queensland to take

0:45.7

them to the Great Barrier Reef for a few days, I will be off on the road with the one

and only Douglas Murray for our Australian live tour.

0:55.1

When my relationship with my radio show, my public radio show on the ABC kind of fell apart,

audio podcasts, which I do hope you're enjoying, but to start doing them as videos on the old

1:19.2

YouTube and also to do live events. So those are the three prongs, right? There's the audio podcast,

1:25.7

there's video content, which TBC, watch this space.

1:29.8

I want to do some more interesting stuff in video than just having a webcam of me gabbing at you.

1:34.2

I sort of feel like every podcast, especially the sort of intellectual, heterodox ones,

1:39.6

tends to look like it was shot in Jordan Peterson's reading lair. It's all mahogany and books and people

1:45.3

seated on plethora. I'd like to make mine look a bit different. So we're going to play around

1:49.7

with a few things and watch his face. Nonetheless, the third leg of the stool of the Josh Sips,

1:55.1

Uncomfortable Conversations, Global Empire, Fire Us Off to the Moon and Create a New Civilization

2:00.5

Stool are live events

2:02.4

where I would bring interesting people from all over the world, and we'd have conversations.

2:07.8

Now, let me preface this by saying that I was watching Oppenheimer, and if you've seen

2:14.6

the motion picture, the great film Oppenheimer by Christopher Nolan,
