that we may have in Australia and the United States and elsewhere for deep timeless wisdom

as imparted by indigenous elders, one of whom I suppose is Tyson Younger Porter. He's an academic,

he's an arts critic, he's a researcher. He's from a clan

in North Queensland, far North Queensland. On the side, he carves traditional tools and weapons,

but his main gig is that he works as a senior lecturer in Indigenous Knowledges at a university

in Melbourne called Deakin University. And his latest book is amazing. He's been on

the show before to talk about the book before that, which was called Sand Talk. This one's

called Right Story, Wrong Story, Adventures in Indigenous Thinking. I love Tyson. He has an amazing,

he has an amazing ability to straddle the two worlds of the West and the indigenous in a way that doesn't pander to our cliches about the majesty of traditional

ways of doing things. I always get something out of the conversation. I love this conversation.

He really opens up in a way that was unexpected, and I'm grateful for it.
