I'm curious your thoughts we were talking during the break about you know gun

violence and and the willingness or ability of the Republicans in general in

this president in particular to do anything about it.

How do you see this playing out? Are they ever going to stand up to the

NRA or is is this just a you know the the NRA totally controls the

Republican Party yeah there's an extremely weak bill up this week just to do something it did you know not

bad it

good it's kind of like a

you know uh... on a scale of one to ten at the five point

one need select the Florida legislation

it yet it tried to get to try to address this but that's all they're going to do

about it is so they think that that's their cover the bottom line is you know we know what the

real issues are now with the public support you know we know what the real issues are

with the public support you know getting you know banning

uh... these automatic weapons uh... going after universal background checks

that you can't buy something with a bag of money in a parking lot of a grocery store which you

can currently without any kind of background check of buying it off a Craig's list

for example there's just a bunch of things that we would much rather put in place that are meaningful

that they won't touch

anything to get this is one where you know the people are way ahead of the politicians
