It was a nearly three-week trial, and I was fortunate enough to be inside that courtroom for the entirety,

watching a jury panel that I often described as being professional because of their attentiveness

and just their eagerness to hear all the evidence and all the details.

And sometimes we bring you the best jurors who just served on a murder one trial,

which is the case here in South Florida.

But I was up in Tallahassee for Donna Sue

Edelson versus the state of Florida.

And Donna Sue has now been convicted in the murder of Dan Markell following in the

inglorious footsteps of her son, Charlie Adelson, who Ruth Markell, in her

victim impact statement, essentially said she's a mother that turned her own son into a murderer.

And it was a jury of 12 throughout the three week period.

It was actually 14.

It was eight men and six women for deliberations.

It was whittled down to eight men and four women.

And one of those women joins us now, J.C. Maxen Walker, juror number seven.
