As you will know, Portugal has been placed on the amber list from 4am on Tuesday.

That means that all those people who, foolishly, like me, booked a trip to Portugal thinking,

We're wrong.

And now it's a matter of thousands of people scrambling to get out of Portugal

on the few flights available.

A total of 108 hours warning was given.

But actually, things aren't looking too bad.

If you happen to be there or you've got loved ones there,

well, let me explain what the options are.

The easiest thing is if you're with a package holiday company, such as Tui, the biggest

travel company in the UK, they are offering effectively, finish your holiday early.

We won't give you any compensation for that, but we will squeeze you on a plane.
