People are now giving me advice on how to avoid getting arrested when I buy fireworks. Don't say it on the air. Well, listen, they're doing their job, obviously, but I just wish that it wasn't a case where, I mean, for a week, can't you just look the other way if you're going to go buy fireworks? You're going to get pulled over and they're going to be rich. I guess so. You give me no choice. But all these people. You announced it this morning. We have these like, I'm not going to,

I'm not going to say how to do it because it's like advocating. But I am saying, boy, do we have some people who just love their fireworks who are tweeting me right now. Your license plate says shirt and leave in the back, right? Vanity plates. Or shirtsy? Shirtsy? I'm shirtie. It's shirt one. You know, it's the shirt one. So, yeah, so I mean, thank you very much. I don't really need that advice. And people are saying, you know, you got to make a day out of it. You go up there. And if you just drive around and have fun in New Hampshire and visit all the sites and sounds, they won't follow you. So, all right, there we go. I will be heading up there, I'm sure. I don't even know where I'm going to go. But I do know that I do want some fireworks just because I am

reminiscing about the good old days of when we lived in a time of danger and explosives.

All right. So, yesterday, things got interesting when it comes to Paul George in the race for Paul George.

As we've known for a while now, that the Celtics have had their eye on Paul George.

I think it was draft night when you first heard Adrian Wojnarowski send that out there

and essentially confirm that this was a guy that the Celtics had their target set on.

Now, ever since then, there's been Adam Kaufman, which,

believe it or not, Adam Kaufman right here at CBS Boston Sports has been on the forefront

of this whole, they've essentially got a plan that is going to involve signing Hayward

first and then doing the trade for Paul George.

With a three-year extension in place.

With a three-year extension.

And we're going to have Adam Kaufman on at 720, much to the dismay of Sarge,

who is not a big fan at all of Adam Kaufman for some weird reason.

The buy play is really weird, not inviting them to certain things and just really strange stuff. Sarge doesn't hate anybody. He does. It's everybody's friend. But I've seen Adam Kaufman being quoted, like in national papers and things like that, as being the source on a lot of this. But things did get interesting yesterday. And that is because there was a trade that was made, a super mega deal.

Adrian Wojnerowski came out there and I think in one of his final big news stories that he's going to break, right, for the vertical before he moves to ESPN, which is one of the few good moves ESPN has made in a long time. There's no one better than Hagergergerger's going to hire someone. He's the guy. He's the guy.

He'll dominate.

Him and Jay Glazer are kind of the two premier guys. So when you've got the story that came out yesterday that Chris Paul was leaving the Clippers and heading to the Houston Rockets to play with James Hardin, your first thought was, okay, that can't be the end of it.
