You know, it's kind of nice when you see somebody from the company you work for locally,

getting mentioned all over the place for something good, that being breaking some sort of news.

Not arrested like you'll be later on in New Hampshire.

Well, that might be the case if I buy those damn fireworks.

Adam Kaufman, who works for CBS Boston, has been in the forefront of this whole Paul George Gordon Hayward situation and seems to have some sort of inside info, at least that's from what I'm reading.

In his article that you can find it, CBSbostonSports.com, that there is a way this could happen.

And it looks like there's not just a way this could happen.

It could be a reality.

Well, so I tweeted back on Friday just, you know, I didn't want to come out necessarily say sources,

even though it was sources, but I didn't want the thing to necessarily

totally blow up in case I was wildly off base, but I had a, you know, a more than reliable

tip telling me that the Celtics were doing what you've heard about since, this sequencing,

where they're targeting Gordon Hayward and Free Agency, which we all knew, and then at that point,

had a deal in place or were positioned to have a deal in place for Paul Georgia, the Pacers,

with a three-year extension kind of being whispered in the background.

Certainly the strong impression that he would be very open to staying long-term with Boston,

not bulk for the Lakers, as has been

popularly talked about come free agency in 2018. So obviously, as we know, over the last almost

the week at this point, that's really taken off. You've had Wodge and other people like that
