so let's dive into them. We're going to catch you up on a tragic

tragic tale that was developing out of Indiana where a mother and her let's say

friend were arrested for the death of her four-year-old daughter.

We're going to catch you up on the half day of Karen Reed's murder trial from Friday, and

then a shocking twist in a murder trial that was actually slated to begin today.

We start today with a harrowing tragic tale currently developing in the heartland of America

On the morning of Friday June 14th a woman in Evansville Indiana called 911 and reported that her roommate's daughter,

four-year-old Octavia Aquino, was found in the home not breathing.

First responders would arrive at the home located at the 4500 block of Spring Valley Road and noted

that the little girl was still alive but just barely hanging on.

She was found lying on the couch in the living room of the house.

Her lips were blue and firefighters would later

report that she was cold to the touch. Now at the time, Octavia's mother, 23-year-old

at Destiny Roads, was at work and subsequently notified about what was unfolding in the house. old at for life saving treatment. Destiny's two roommates and a 20 year old male located inside the home

were taken to the police station for questioning. Destiny herself would also voluntarily come in to be questioned.
