Pelosi and the select committee. Let's get into the mix. The House Judiciary Committee

is scheduled to hold a markup today on six big antitrust bills aimed at some of the biggest

names in corporate America, Facebook, Apple, Amazon, and Google. This is led by a bipartisan group

of lawmakers, and it is backed by conservative Republicans on judiciary and progressive Democrats, a pretty

interesting bloc, a pretty interesting alliance of people. And it's aimed at reigning in the

growing power of big tech. This is also the biggest antitrust effort that Congress has

undertaken in decades. Now, this is a very important moment in understanding the

politics of Silicon Valley in D.C. This will be the true dividing line here between the

allies and foes of the so-called fang companies. But let's be completely honest here. The future

for these bills is uncertain. Even if this is approved by the Judiciary Committee,

it's still unclear whether the Senate can even make it through the full House. I would imagine that

with a four-seat majority, very difficult to get anything through the House,

nonetheless, these bills, which are going to be very controversial, and the Senate, the odds

are even longer because one person
