First up today, we have kind of something that was really surprising for a lot of us. An op-ed in the Wall Street Journal from a sitting Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito.

He accused ProPublica of misleading its readers, said that the publication-leveled false charges about a Supreme Court recusal, financial disclosures, and a 2008 fishing trip.

There was a story that they were working on. And this is basically his response to

them. They emailed Justice Alito a series of questions on Friday and asked him to respond by noon

yesterday, Tuesday. And this was his response doing that. You should take a look at it. It's something

that we just haven't seen. as Americans have a lot of questions about

what is the Supreme Court as an entity? This may answer a few of those. And also on Tuesday,

Hunter Biden, President Joe Biden's son, we should deal with federal prosecutors to resolve

a five-year federal investigation. He will plead guilty to a pair of misdemeanor tax charges.

Prosecutors have also charged him with possessing a firearm while being a user of illegal

drugs. That's a felony. But they've agreed to dismiss that charge if he completes a two-year

period of probation. Lots to uncover here both legally and politically. So joining me to

So we had kind of a big development on Tuesday that really kind of shook Biden world, but also maybe gave them a lot of relief with Hunter Biden. I guess, talk to me a little bit about the conversations you had

about how not just Joe Biden, but Biden World writ large, feels about the plea deal.

Yeah, I mean, you know, as you know, Biden World is actually a small universe of, you know,

a handful of AIDS who really spent a lot of time with this president. They know him very well. They know

what weighs on him. They know how he thinks. And the Hunter Biden situation, I think it's fair to say,

had weighed on the president far more than they would ever let on publicly. And possibly more
