We've got Racing TVs, former Grand National Winni Jockey Darrell Jacob, and Racing TVs and actually both are with me on Talk Sport now. Darrell just made his debut on Talk Sport with us. It was a sensational debut as well. And Lizzie Kelly and I were on Talksport last week. Lizzie is one of the main commentators on TalkSport as well. |
| 0:39.5 | And, of course, also on Racing TV. |

| 0:44.3 | broadcast, not because Lizzie insists on it, but because my producer, Ross Bellamy at Talksport |
| 0:47.7 | makes me put it into the running order. Hello to both of you. You're very welcome back to the podcast. Actually, Lizzie's done very well. She's beat me a few times up that Cheltenham Hill as well, so she has. So I've got to give Lizzie credit with credit to Duke. Yeah, absolutely. Multiple Chelten Festival winning jockey. Apparently she would beat Daryl's senseless on the gallops in the morning as well. Clean your mind out. Racing Gallops, that is. She was a lot braver than I ever was, Emmett, so she was. We spent five minutes about the bravery of Lizzie Kelly. We basically discovered that Lizzie is a bit of a lunatic when it comes to it because she'll just do whatever, whereas Darrell was a little bit more conservative, despite the fact that he won. Multiple great ones at a Grand National, but Lizzie, much more brave or reckless, depending on whichever one you want to go for. Envoy-L-N is the one we're going to kick things off with. This is one of the things we love about National Hunt Racing. The old fellas, the old girls coming back year on year. We get to know this form, but for Envoy-LN, a horse who was unbeaten in his first 12 starts to be at the age of 11 winning yet another great one. He's now a six-time winner at Down Royal. He's the first horse ever to win the Down Royal Champion Chase three times. It lacked a little bit of substance. There was no Spalance Tower. There was no stellar story being scratched. I don't understand how he's gone off 11 to 4. It's madness really. But, Darrell, he was really, good. Actually, look, it, isn't he? He's a wonderful horse and he's credited connections, isn't he, 11-year-old to keep coming back. And look at, he's very, very good at the start of the year, especially around there on that sort of grounded. Look at the strength and depth of the race, I suppose, isn't the strongest. But look at, all he can do is beat the horses there that's in front of him and that's exactly what he's done he's absolutely trounced him and uh I think Darrow Keith's got to get a big mention here that's the second time he's ridden him as well obviously he's taking over the reins from Rachel Blackmore and you know he's fitted into that slot really really comfortably really well. And he's going to be a jockey as well this year that's going to be, he's going to take higher order. He's going to be, he's going to be one of the first names that you're going to see on a Saturday in the papers at these big meetings now. And it's a, it's a big job for him. It's a huge opportunity for him. And he's taking him with both hands, but, you know, come back to the horse. I mean, what can you say about him? You know, for any horse to win 10 races, it's hard, but to win 10 grade 1 races and beating some of the horses that he's beaten in the meantime in doing that. It's just phenomenal and brilliantly trained again by Henry de Bromhead since he took |
| 3:13.2 | him over from Gordon Elliott. |
| 3:15.0 | Yeah, it really is pretty remarkable. |
| 3:16.5 | We haven't seen the horse since the Ryanair, where again he was carried out in his shield |
| 3:19.1 | finishing third at the Chelten Festival. |
| 3:21.4 | Now he's back with another grade one win, Lizzie. |
| 3:23.6 | And it was just a pretty flawless performance from him. And it seemed to me mean an awful lot to Dara as well. |
| 3:29.2 | Yeah, obviously, as Daryl's mentioned, this is a big opportunity for him. Rachel's retired. |
| 3:34.7 | And he's obviously no stranger to success, Dara. But I thought it was a really good advert for him. |
| 3:41.2 | I really felt like this horse just came alive when they quickened. |
| 3:44.1 | His jumbling was absolutely super over the last five, really. |
