four copies we've got to give away. Make sure you subscribe to the channel as well. If you comment

and you haven't subscribed, you're disqualified.

1:46.9

But if you've subscribed and you've commented, then you're in the draw to win a copy of one of Paul's excellent books. And we've got a really interesting mix of horses to talk about. And the first one is for the O'Neill team. It's Bill Joyce. Yeah, Bill Joyce, a horse who are regular readers of my work. know that I've been a fan of them since he won his point to point really.

1:55.6

Obviously, started off as a bumper horse won a couple of soft and heavy ground bumpers for John Joe before he ran down the field in the champion bumper.

1:58.5

Similar story last year, really, he started the season really well.

2:05.8

He was impressive with Carlisle over hurdles, and then he won the grade to winter novice's hurdle at the main expense of quebecua wasn't able to cope with the new lion in the chalo and then he again finished third in the

2:11.8

novice hurdle on trials day and the classic novice hurdle i actually thought that there he was a bit, he was a bit keen through his races.

2:20.9

He's a bit of a strange horse, really, and the fact that he shapes like he wants a longer trip to me,

2:26.1

but he wasn't racing correctly during the first half of the last season to go up and trip.

2:31.7

Given a break, he did go up and trip.

2:33.2

He missed Cheltenham and went to Aintree when he fell a long way out. So it was a bit too early to tell him, and possibly he was over the top then when running at Punchers Town. But he's a huge chasing type. I think they've always regarded them as a future chaser. So he's already a grade two winner over hurdles.

2:54.8

I'd be hoping, or I would imagine, sorry, that the O'Neill team will be hoping that he develops into a similar type over fences.

2:57.5

I think the key thing with him is to say, in each of his two seasons, he's won his first

3:01.7

two starts, culminating with that grade two success last December.

3:06.0

So perhaps he's one for the early

3:07.8

half of the season I don't think they think soft ground is essential to him but I think

3:13.5

it's a huge benefit to him because he handles really deep ground when others
