Hey guys, you're listening to The Perfect Ten podcast. This is Lana Turner, and I have to say, I'm so excited to be in the place where I am right now because I've been preparing for a movie that I wrote, and so far it's looking really good, like we're going to shoot it this summer.

And in the movie, I get, my character does this transformation and she gets to do a,

like a strip tea. It's like a stripper. It is a stripper scene. And I'm in one of the LA

legendary strip clubs, Jumbo's Clown Room, and I'm sitting next to a legendary stripper comedian,

who I've met quite a few times in the comedy world.

And now I'm in her her world, which is this amazing place.

This place is legendary.

I think it was like started in the 70s. Wow. It was started in the 70s.

The original, Wyatt's named Jumbo Clown Room was, it started with Jumbo. In his name,

there is a Jumbo. He's 91 now. Really? And he wanted to, I think.

That's not his real name. Yeah. Really? Yeah. And that's Christina. That's his granddaughter. But anyway. She's behind the bar. Yeah, the dark hair. Wow. So this is a family establishment. Yeah. So it's a family establishment. The energy in here is great. I have to say, I just think it's so much. You guys have some fun here. Yeah, it's like, this is our green room before we do the show here. This is where we're preparing the dances and the gossiping going on. Right. To give everybody a perspective on what's going, this is the, it's like four o'clock in the afternoon. So what time does the first customer start wandering in? As soon as the first customer, the rule is you don't have to dance until the first customer walks in. But what time does it usually open or get started? Four o'clock. Four o'clock. Okay, so somebody could potentially wander in right now. Yeah. So then, and that's when the dancing begins. Yeah. So this is the pre-show kind of hanging out. The rule is you can stay here until at least one or two customers.

And if it's a regular, you don't have to get up until at least there's three or four customers.

It's not very big space.

So really, if you only have a couple of people in here, you'd feel...

It's amazing.

It only supposed to seat 75 people.

You can fit 75 people in here?
