First things first, I just want to say I hope you all had a fantastic

holiday weekend spent with loved ones and friends. It doesn't get better than that.

We found some pretty crazy stories that happened this past week and over the weekend, so let's dive into him.

A 35-year-old man in North Carolina is accused of killing an 86-year-old woman on the 4th of July.

Over in southern Oregon, a 20-year-old is accused of killing two teenagers in their home.

In Southern California, a woman from New Zealand who was on vacation met a tragic

fate. And we have an update on a wild case that happened back in 2019. It was a

triple murder that occurred and we found out last week that the charges in the case have been certified and the trial is set to move forward

This past Thursday, police in Weaverville, North Carolina were called to a home on

Squirrel Ridge Road in response to a domestic incident that was taking place.

Now police warned the public that access to the area would be blocked off due to a quote

significant law enforcement presence.

In this incident, both Weaverville police officers, as well as the Buncombe County Sheriff's Office,

were seen surrounding the home with their guns drawn.

Witnesses in the area recalled seeing law enforcement making, you know,

tactical advances towards the back of this home, leaving it completely surrounded. One witness

recalled, quote, they got out of their vehicles with AR-15s, heavy armament, and went back down

through the yard and started surrounding the house.
