I hope you all had a fantastic 4th of July with your

families watching some fireworks, enjoying some good old-fashioned American fun.

But now you're probably traveling back home or maybe you're commuting to that last work day of the week in which I have some murder stories for you today.

Let's dive into it. A woman in the United Kingdom is accused of killing her parents and then

living with their bodies for years. In Mississippi, a 23-year-old man is accused of killing his

ex-girlfriend and then leading authorities on a massive manhunt.

In Ohio, a 26-year-old man is accused of killing his livin girlfriend after she was reported

missing this week.

And in Las Vegas, a man turned himself over to the police

following the discovery of a woman in a hotel room who later passed away. All of this

coming at you right now here on Sword and Scale Daily.

So yesterday afternoon in the United Kingdom, 36-year-old Virginia McCullough of Essex

appeared in the Crown Court via video conference where she admitted to

murdering her parents 71-year-old Lois McCullough and 70-year-old John McCullough

both of which were last seen in 2019. Now back on September 13th,

2023, Essex Police arrived at the McCullough family's end of

Terrace home to conduct a welfare check on both Lois and John.

Over the years since they were last seen, relatives had made multiple attempts to reach out to the couple,

but they would only ever speak with Virginia who would always conveniently have an excuse as to where they were.

They were on vacation.
