All right, with Congress out, our low-key president Joe Biden has been the main story driving Washington these days.

He's already addressed two major issues this week.

One, how to respond to the COVID-19 Delta variant.

And two, he attempted to sell the bipartisan infrastructure framework and his American family's plan to Trump voting skeptics in Illinois.

Today, the focus is on two big foreign policy dilemmas.

He'll receive an update in the Situation Room about Afghanistan and then address the public

about the American withdrawal.

He also told reporters yesterday, he would decide today what to do about the recent Russian

cyber attacks. But across all four

issues, one question still looms. Is Biden doing enough? When it comes to the bipartisan framework,

there's not a ton of news today. But Politico's Laura Barone Lopez scoops that the White House

and Hill Democrats are eyeing the week of July 19th to have the bipartisan bill on the Senate floor.

Some hiccups still remain.

Drafting the $65 billion broadband component of the framework is causing some headaches.

And as we previously predicted, conservative critics are zeroing in on the plan's IRS enforcement provisions.
