Hey, good morning. I'm Playbook Co-Oath, Eugene Daniels. It is Wednesday, July 24th. Here is what's driving the day.

First, we are going to hear from President Joe Biden for the first time since he decided to drop his run for re-election.

Tonight at 8 p.m. from the Oval Office, President Biden is going to walk the American people

through his decision.

What we've been told is basically there will be kind of two buckets of what's going to happen.

One is talking about the agenda, what's left in the administration that he actually wants to do because he has made

clear that he is still the president and he has more work that he wants to do. The second bucket

is obviously more detail about the announcement. This was an earth-shaking move and the American

people and all of us are very interested in hearing how

the president got to that decision from his own words. A lot of what the president is going to say

is under wraps, but we're told it will be both of those buckets and possibly even more.

Meanwhile, his number two, Vice President Kamala Harris, has really kicked

off her campaign for president. On Tuesday, the vice president was in Milwaukee. I was there.

I've been to a lot of Kamala Harris events. I have been to a lot of Joe Biden events.

It is hard to overstate how different this event actually felt. Harris events typically

have like 400 to 500 people. This had 3,000 people. It's a number that the campaign says is

unmatched compared to any event that they've had, even when it was the Biden-Harris campaign.

Harris continued to preview the attacks that she has

for former President Donald Trump, things that really she's been saying for months now, even as

she was just President Joe Biden's running mate. But also, when you have to pay attention, guys,

if you're listening to what she's saying, there's little tweaks that she's making

to make clear what she would do differently than President Biden. They're very small, right? A lot of the
