Welcome back to the Paracast with Gene and Chris.

And as you regular listeners know, we have a place in our

forums at forum.com that we call the question bank. And what we do every week is we give you the

opportunity when we have enough warning, and sometimes we don't, to ask questions of our guests.

That's kind of impersonal, I guess, in a sense, because you're hearing Chris

read the questions mostly, or me, and you don't hear the voices of the actual listener.

Now, here are a couple of problems, and you'll understand why it works this way. We pre-record

the show, and the reason is that most guests don't want to be awakened at midnight or two

o'clock in the morning or something on a Sunday morning to do a paranormal radio show.

We know there's a certain radio show that does that live.

We know that years ago, Long John Nebel would have people come between midnight and 5 a.m.

And they would come on, they would spend all night doing a radio show and get free sandwiches and

everything for their efforts. But we try to make it convenient for the guest. And as a result, we don't

take live phone calls. Now, we're looking at alternatives. How can we have you listeners interact in

some fashion with the guests and do it in a way that is more personal, that we hear you asking

your question. So, Chris, an idea was specified or suggested in our forums. What about it? Yeah, it was,

Gene. And I, geez, you know, we should have come up with this a while ago. What we're proposing is

having folks send in their questions recorded as MP3s, which we can then monitor, view, put in order, and ask our guests by playing these questions live during the taping for our guests to respond to. And I think it's a great idea. I think it helps to show sound more immediate. And also gives, you know, our wonderful forum bunch out there the opportunity to more personally

interact with our guests.

And we do have an incredible community on our forums, some really bright up-to-speed folks.
