And our guest this week is one of the great living jokesman, Julie Klausner.

I've known Julie for nearly a decade now,

when she was writing must read recaps for Vulture,

regardless if you watch the show or not, and starting

her seminal podcast How Was Your Week?

Then in 2015, she created her hilarious Hulu sitcom, Difficult People, and for three seasons

she put out some of the absolute best jokes on

television. The joke we talk about is from difficult people and is easily one of the

most unexpected random jokes someone has picked to talk about on the show since at least maybe Neil

Brandon in the first season. You don't need to know too much to get it but let me

write you some context in case you haven't seen this episode or the show in general.

It stars Julie Klaasner and Billy Eisner

as two best friends living in New York City trying to make

into the entertainment industry in which they hate everybody but each other. In this episode Billy is cast a star on a

dumb kid show. He only agrees because he believes his face will be covered as he

doesn't want to be embarrassed as he's currently joined the 10-10s, the name for

a group of super-hout gay guys, they'll all have sex with each other.
