This is talk easy. I'm San Francisco so welcome to the show. Today I am joined by actor, writer, and director Julie Delby.

Her work spans nearly four decades dating back to 1985 where a 15 year old Delpy performed in Jean Locadard's film, Detective.

Between then and now, you've seen her in Kislowski's three color trilogy,

Blue, white, and red, Richard Link later's Before trilogy,

Sunrise, Sunset, and Midnight, or films by directors like Jim Jarmush and Broken Flowers or Todd

Solons and Wiener Dogg.

But acting is only one half of Delpy's story. The other comes as a prolific writer and filmmaker.

Some of my favorites being Two Days in Paris, Two Days in New York, and Skylab.

Her latest endeavor called On the Verge, finds her doing a bit of everything.

As writer, director, actor, Delpy focuses on four mothers in pre-pandemic Los Angeles, sorting

through problems of marriage, work, parenting, and everything in between.
