Hey guys, welcome to episode 23 of the JV club.

If you have read the description or looked at the photos that come up on the Nurtis site,

if that's the way into the podcast for you, then you know that this is a pretty

unusual episode of the podcast. It is an interview with a dude, but it is not quite that simple and obviously if you read the

description or if you're about to listen to the episode you will hear more on

that. But it's an episode I recorded several months ago and I've been sitting on it for a little while because

you know either there were some older episodes I needed to get out first or some newer episodes

that came through that felt like they just needed to be released straight away for one reason or another.

And it's funny because sometimes I don't know why I hold stuff and why I put stuff out right away. But interestingly enough, I couldn't have known

that I would end up taking this job or that this job

would even exist at Huffpost Live, which

is the new online streaming content part of the Huffington Post that is going to be

launching on Monday. But everything happened as it did and interestingly I was I was able to do a segment on transgender people and that is

now available to watch on the Huffington Post website.
