which is a center at the campus of UC San Diego and the first possibly only of its kind and

certainly we were one of the first podcasts in the University of California system

very proud of that and I'm especially proud to be welcoming our special guest

today Julian Guthrie, who has not

only been an inspiring mentor to me as a writer, has helped me out with my writing and we'll

maybe get into her process a little bit, but she's also a friend and a huge supporter of the mission,

which is really to inspire people to the greatest human potential that they have,

and that is really one of the deepest missions, both of the Clark Center of Arthur C. Clark himself

and of what we're trying to do at the University of California here in San Diego.
