though, I want to go deep on the quarterback position and what the Patriots need with Phil Perry,

because Phil, you pointed out last week that quote from Ryan Fitzpatrick, Fitzpatrick,

Fitzs said, as the Patriots play in the Pittsburgh Steelers, Mac Jones is definitely broken.

Mentally, emotionally, he's broken.

You know, I look to a few similar examples

of first round quarterbacks that have gone through the struggles.

To Atunga Vailoa, who I was with, with Brian Flores,

using the same New England way.

He was broken by Brian Flores.

And what happens? Mike McDaniel comes in, he restores his confidence, he gets it back, and now he's an MVP candidate.

Phil, you mentioned that quote from Ryan Fitzpatrick as an entree into a couple of different things.

The first being, with the Patriots owning a top three pick,

how important is the care and feeding of the new quarterback going to be?
