Boy! Boi! Boi! Boi! Boi! Boi! Boi! Boi! Now in the street, they rip violence. And then a lot of stuff is worth to be done. my take presented by Toastitos. official chip and dip of the NFL today is Wednesday, December 22nd. And I'm not going to say the Washington football team is dead because they're not dead. We still control our own destiny. They're on life support. Yeah. It was bad. It was bad tonight. Garrett Gilbert played well though, considering the situation he was put in. |
| 2:45.8 | Yes, even the start on a curve. I would like to, I would like to actually agree with Philadelphia Eagles fans on something. I think Philadelphia Eagles fans were absolutely right that this game should not have been played tonight. It should have been played on Sunday. Yep. The weather would have been totally different. Wetball tonight. Wetball. Rose by Gareth Gilbert, the rafts missed a really bad roughing to Pazdor call, which |
| 3:06.9 | Tom Brady would have gotten |
| 3:09.0 | according to Julian Edelman who watched it live with us. But yeah, it was the real turning |
| 3:15.6 | point of the game was that first drive of the third quarter where they marched down the |
| 3:19.1 | field. And in about two minutes into the second half, I was like, this team defense is |
| 3:23.8 | completely gas. They were they were hands on hips, no past rush, |
| 3:27.2 | when the, when the, when the Eagles marched down the field. Now, Jules is here. So we're gonna, we've done this a few times to much acclaim, critical acclaim. The guest is Julian Edelman. He watched the games with us. We hung out. Wetball expert Julian Edelman. what do you do with the wet ball |
| 3:43.8 | like really what |
| 3:45.1 | it doesn't look really well it was really well at some point |
| 3:48.8 | and some It was really wet at some point. On Sunday was really dry. It was a stretcher down. Okay. But in that case, you take off the plastic gloves and you got to put on the leather gloves or you go barehand. A lot of guys will go barehand. But when you have those plastic gloves that are tacky with like a regular |
| 4:05.4 | dry ball, when you have them with water they're just absolute slick. So you got to go to leather glove. It's not like you, there's certain goalie gloves in soccer. I know that you put a little bit of water on, you get it a little bit wet and they get stickier. They attack you. Yeah. Well, depending on how those aren't plastic though. Those are like Felt weird shit |
| 4:24.1 | There's leather of talk. Oh, yeah, those won't now nah. We don't do weird shit Like All right, so what was your what was your biggest takeaway from so I the Washington football team like They didn't have their quarterbacks. Yeah, they have both of their quarterbacks Garrett Gilbert spot start like you said pft. I think he did okay For the Eagles though, I, I don't know what to make of Jalen Hertz because there are times when I'm like, he's not the guy, but nights like tonight, it feels like he has a command of the offense and they do, they've, they've, I've given Nick Serionic credit like he, it feels like he has molded his offense to fit Jalen Hertz and what he does best and they did it well tonight. Thoughts. I mean, I can agree with that with some sort, but you know, you take a look at this and they turn the ball over twice early in the game. They got into a ten point hole and thankfully they were playing the redskins. You know, I'm sorry, PFT, but they had 23 guys on the COVID list. They got a guy starting a quarterback that's in his third day in the uniform. So this isn't like something to look at like Philadelphia and say, hey, they look pretty good. I mean, they played the way they should have in the second half against a decimated Washington football team. And, you know, Jalen Hertz, he's gonna do what he did tonight. He's gonna make some plays where you're like, you should hold on to the ball. Let's have ball security in the pocket. He's gonna make some plays where you through the interception and then he's gonna make some really good plays with his legs. He's gonna run around, create a second play and hit guys down the field. |
| 6:05.6 | And he showed us that he does that consistently, but I mean, I just don't think that's a long lasting plan. Okay. So now I have a question because Eagles fans listen to this right now are gonna be like, Jules is a hater. No, because they lost in the Super Bowl. The Eagles are a huge play in that Super Bowl. i am so do you have any residual hate |
| 6:28.4 | for that super bowl gonna be like Jules Hader. No, because they lost in the Super Bowl to the Eagles. You didn't play in that Super Bowl. |
| 6:25.6 | I didn't play. |
| 6:26.4 | So do you have any residual hate for that Super Bowl? Where is this coming from? Absolutely not. Actually in 2009, I went to a pop-order banquet in Philadelphia. Oh. Had a great time there. So you have ties to the city. I have ties to the city. You could play a quarterback for Nick's |
| 6:42.9 | You got it next year maybe |
| 6:44.1 | People will put you out yeah on a short list of |
