0:41.2	Why tanning? Yeah. Oh my God. I was just going to jump in. Why? How? Why? How?
0:46.7	So tanning is an industry in a career that is not something that I was like, you know when I grew up, I want to. Yeah, exactly. And it's something that actually my career advisor didn't even know fuck all about. Mine wanted me to be a bilingual secretary. Love that. I love that for you. Can't see it for you, but sure. But I fell into tanning. I studied fashion at uni, worked in beauty. Did you finish uni? Yep, finished uni.
1:12.3	Got a first. Oh, shut up. I didn't go. And worked in beauty, but just was working at like desk
1:19.4	jobs. And I was like, this is not for me. And forever, I just thought, oh my God, all I want to do is be in
1:25.7	this industry. And then I got in the industry. I was like, oh, my God, I don't like it. Then I met Nicola Joss and she, celebrity facelist. She'll grab you by the balls and sort you out. Yeah, exactly. And she said, I think you'd be a really good spray tunner. So I was like, a spray tunner. What the fuck? Are you serious? I've got a degree.
1:46.1	Well, there was an element of that actually, but also there was, I just hadn't really ever
1:51.9	envisaged it as a career. But I was like, do you know what? Fuck it. I'll try it. What I've
1:56.1	got to lose. And that is really something that I've really lived my life by. If it feels good, if I'm interested, if it's feeding happiness, then let's do it.
2:05.1	Fuck it. Try it. What have I got to lose?

2:08.4	Tanning is so much more than just product.
2:12.1	It's about liberation in the skin that you're in.
2:15.3	It's about feeling confident naked.
2:17.4	I've always said it's like a secret weapon in the beauty industry. You can put a lip on, but everyone knows you're wearing a lip. You can get a blow drive. Everyone knows you've got a blow dry. But Tan, if you do it properly, everyone's like, what's going on? You look good. You look good. You look healthy. It's all of that. And for me, that underdog of the beauty world, oh, that is where I wanted to be.
