We've probably addressed it in the past some, but I think, you know, for many readers

of Scripture, we look at passages about the Spirit of the Lord, and our only framework

for thinking about the Spirit is in kind of new covenant terms when we think about the

dwelling of the Spirit and the kind of moral transformation

that the spirit causes in our own hearts.

But that doesn't seem to be the case with what's going on in the Old Testament.

All right, so guys, last week we started in this book of judges.

All right, we did chapter one, chapter two, and a tiny bit of chapter three. And we talked about sort of the two-part introduction of the beginning of judges.

And now, today, we're going to only do the remainder of chapter three.

So we're going to take the first three judges of this book and sort of focus in on those.

Now, before we begin, getting any details, remind us roughly or broadly or from a 30,000-foot

view of the structure of this book, sort of from now and to the end of 16, or the structure

of the whole book?

Yeah, so basically from 1-1 to 3-6, you have the book's introduction.

That gives us a high-level overview of what's going on in Israel's history.
