A lawsuit filed over the signal chat leaks has been assigned to a judge overseeing several other Trump cases.

Most notably, the blocking of Trump's invocation of the Alien Enemies Act and deportation flights to El Salvador.

And on the signal chat leaks, the White House has tapped Elon Musk at the Doge Department

to investigate how a journalist was added

to the chat group. And in other news, Trump has enacted a new wave of 25% tariffs on foreign-made

cars and trucks, and these are aimed at bringing back the American auto manufacturing industry.

A lawsuit filed over the signal chat leaks has now gone to a judge who's also seeing a long

list of other anti-Trump cases. Judge James Bousberg, he's going to

oversee the lawsuit in addition to overseeing the case on blocking Trump's invocation of the Alien

Enemies Act, the deportation flights, other cases on the federal grant funding freeze, also records being sought by the Doge

department, and he's also using the signal case to put a hold on all Trump signal communications,

meaning, well, they might be able to get all the communications of Trump and the people around him.

Now look first on this signal lawsuit, it's being brought by the nonpartisan government

watchdog group American oversight, which is alleging that the Trump administration officials

in that signal chat, they say the violated federal records acts.

And remember, this is the chat where Defense Secretary Pete Hegeseth, National Security

Advisor Michael Walls, Vice President J.D. Vance, and 15 other senior national security officials

and said they were discussing basically plans to strike the Houthi rebels in Yemen. The Hill said
