Okay, Hannah, I want to open with a question as we are want to do.

Would you rather your children become black hat ultra-Orthodox or convert to Christianity?

Oh, get out of here. That's such a crap question. Oh, my God. Why? I love this question. It's such a great

question to, like, you know, have a, to talk about schnops with your friends. Okay, what kind of

Christianity? Like, are they just going to some mild Lutheran services every once in a while

and learning a few hymns? are they like evangelicals or Mormon.

Oh, that's interesting. Okay, so let's start with like the lighthearted Lutherans.

Do they have a Christmas tree? Oh my God, that's what it comes down to? Yes, like am I walking into the

house where my progeny and potentially their progeny is? And it's all Christmassy. Like, it's all like, like little goyishy things all over the house. I've never said a word like that in my life. But that's my life now. And then there's like a tiny menorah under the tree because. No, no. The menorah is actually on top of the tree instead of the angel

there's like a Jewish star with a menorah but anyway I need to tell you something right now

Hana there's like a 75% chance that will be true for your children even if they don't convert

to Christianity I just want to prepare you for that eventuality. Isn't it weird?

Like, does it speak to the shallowness of my Judaism that it's the aesthetics I'm concerned about?

It's not their souls.

Like, it's not what is their souls and what's their relationship with their tradition
