Judas and the Black Messiah was nominated for a WGA award. So I definitely hope if you dig the film,

you tell your friends about it and continue to help get the word out there. And this is a good

interview because it was fascinating to see how the Lucas Brothers and Will all worked with Shaka King,

the writer-director, who is not in this episode, but was also nominated with them.

And, you know, Shaka did just an amazing job as a director ranging from his shot compositions

and excellent cinematography to the performances he elicited from the really talented actors.

So, you know, shout out to Shaka as well for a job well done too.
