0:43.3	At different phases in your journey of life, God will have specific messages for you. Now, truth endures to all generation.
0:45.3	Well, it's true yesterday, it's true today, it'll be true forever.
0:48.3	But at particular times in life, there are certain messages that you need to hear.
0:53.3	A good illustration of that is the
0:55.4	letter of second Thessalonians. Now you remember that the Apostle Paul had written one letter to them
1:00.2	already and the great message of that letter is Jesus is coming. Christ is coming again.
1:05.9	Well obviously that message had gotten deeply in their spirit. They had accepted that truth.
1:11.9	Sometimes we need additional understanding.
1:16.2	We need a little more explanation of certain things.
1:19.8	I remember Dr. Sells saying years ago
1:21.9	that oftentimes truth is not found in the acceptance of one extreme or the other.
1:29.3	It's found in the acceptance of both. Do you believe in the sovereignty of God or the free will of man?
1:32.3	Yes.
1:33.3	Do you believe in repentance or faith?
1:35.3	Yes. It's not one or the other. It's both.
1:39.3	When you come to Second Thessalonians,
1:41.3	you find a truth that seems to balance out the truth given to us in First Thessalonians, you find a truth that seems to balance out the truth given to us
1:46.5	in First Thessalonians. You see, he wrote the letter to the Church Thessalonica, the first letter
